Eleven community sports organisations in Cronulla and Miranda electorates have received grants from the NSW Local Sport Grants Program.

Grants of between $2,000 and $20,000 per project were available, with up to $50,000 available in each of the state's electorates.
The grants were announced by state MPs Mark Speakman and Eleni Petinos.
The projects are:
Cronulla electorate
- Sandshoes Boardriders Club (upgrade of equipment, promotional materials and website) $18,000
- Port Hacking Croquet Club (Equipment upgrade) $12,500
- Dgen Squash Club (Sporting Schools Squash Star Program) $9,000
- Port Hacking Open Sailing Club (Equipment upgrade for junior sailing) $8,350
- Cronulla Bowls Club (Non slip playing equipment) $2,150.
Miranda electorate
- $16,689.40 for a field sweeper for Sutherland District Hockey Club;
- $8,635 for equipment to support female rugby players for Southern Districts Rugby Club.
- $8,149.20 for a Female Football Gala for Georges River Football Club.
- $6,099.30 for equipment and skills training for coaches for Joeys Netball Club.
- $5,000 for player and trainer training for Taren Point Titans Junior Rugby League Football Club.
- $4,162.67 for a clubhouse PA system for St Josephs Junior Rugby League Football Club.
